A 35-year-old Canadian man who uses a wheelchair is in a Sydney, Australia hospital after being badly beaten by two teenagers.
Police say the man, reportedly from Winnipeg, was waiting for a train late Tuesday when he was approached and verbally abused by the boys.

They are collecting items for those who have lost limbs, as thousands of Haitians have experienced injuries leading to amputation.
Researchers at the University of Michigan say they’ve developed a new type of artificial foot that nearly halves the amount of extra effort amputees need to exert with every step.
