Amputation is an absolute tragedy and an individual who is going through it specially in the beginning will tend to experience a wide range of emotions that include loss of self confidence, self esteem, anger, depression, anxiety, shame, and withdrawal. I know it first hand. I created Amputee Inspirations with hope to provide some peer support to our fellow amputees. I hope to make this a platform where people who are amputees or have had some experiences with amputees can leave some advices and share experiences for the benefit of other fellow amputees out there.
